Welcome to International Artists Carillon

International Artists Carillon™ is an English Handbell ensemble formed by director Mark Andersen, and originally included former members of Seattle Bell Ensemble, Emerald City Ringers™ and other other interested musicians.  Many of the members of International Artists Carillon™ are well-known and accomplished Handbell Soloists and Duos in their own right.  Now International Artists Carillon™ is formed of community members in Lumberton, North Carolina.

The purposes of this ensemble are to learn new and improved ringing techniques, and advanced handbell performance presentation.  Admission to International Artists Carillon™ is by invitation and audition.

Mark Andersen began playing handbells in 1956 on White Chapel bells in Lumberton.   He has been a clinician for Schulmerich Handbells, and is currently a clinician with Jeffers Handbell Supply, Inc., and currently teaching and recording on Malmark Cymbells.  He is a published composer and arranger, and has conducted professional bell choirs in New York City, which have recorded for NBC.

For information about International Artists Carillon™, or if you would like to join/audition for the group, contact director Mark Andersen (Lumberton).
